After Care
- Make sure to prevent any trauma to the treated area for the first 4-5 days following the treatment by avoiding hot baths, excessive exercise, massages, etc.
- Exposure to sunlight is discouraged during the first 3-4 weeks post-treatment. Patients should apply high-factor physical sun protection (SPF>30) and protect the treated area from exposure to direct sunlight to prevent melanin regeneration and hyper-pigmentation.
- Makeup can be applied on the day following treatment unless blistering or crusts develop. Since the skin is sensitive during this period, be careful while removing makeup to avoid skin damage, which can lead to infection.
- Topical products should be used with extra care during this period, and if irritation persists, discontinue use.
